This page lists my contributions to other people's productions. These include written contributions, audio contributions, and guest appearances on podcasts.
Bart Busschots invited me for an interview on the topic of aviation photography. We talked about locations, compositions, tips and traps for getting good photos of aircraft at your local airport, and sometimes we strayed onto general topics about how the aviating happens. A most enjoyable time.
With Allison and Steve away in the Galapagos Islands and Machu Picchu, I was given the task of hosting NosillaCast #620, which meant a week of blog posts to manage and then collate into the final product.
I wrote another album review for Mark Greentree's Subjective Sounds music blog. The Turn of a Friendly Card was a very early, if not my first album in my collection and has remained a favourite.
I once again joined Allison Sheridan for a chit chat, this time about the different natures of pixel and vector graphics editors. In particular, we discussed Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer from Serif.
Episode 607 of the NosillaCast Mac Podcast contains the audio of my review of Primitive.
I joined Allison as a guest this time and spoke about how programming has been both my hobby and a tool for real world problems.
Episode 586 of the NosillaCast Mac Podcast contains the audio of my Tucano Elements Second Skin for MacBook 12" review.
I wrote a guest review of the Tucano Elements Second Skin for MacBook 12". This is a zippered sleeve to protect the diminutive MacBook.
One thing I like about "Monday-ised" public holidays is it affords me a little more flexibility to take part in podcasts.
I was on the panel of Let's Talk Apple 33, for May 2016, with Bart Busschots, Gazmaz, and Chuck Joiner and although it looked like a bit of a slow news month, we managed to have some really interesting discussions about Apple in Asia, privacy versus convenience, and more. I think I managed a couple of rants in there, too.
My last duty as guest host on podfeet.com for the week – the NosillaCast itself!
I'll tell you how I solved my OS X network drive problems. Then Dorothy, aka MacLurker, reviews the iOS game Enigmo. Next, inspired by Allison, I encourage you to play with fire. We hear from Drobo about their new myDrobo and DroboAccess services from the NAB conference. And finally, I review the Beurer GS485 digital scale.
The first podcast for my guest hosting week at podfeet.com, this is a great chat I had with Julie Kuehl about what WordPress is, how it's used and about the community that revolves around it.
The first of several guest posts on podfeet.com leading up to guest-hosting the NosillaCast itself, plus a Chit Chat Across the Pond.
This post looks at the issues OS X has with network volumes and how I got around them with BitTorrent Sync.
